Dec. 1:

Finished wrapping and packing Christmas gifts to my family in FL! Now all I need to do is add "Trip to post office - mail off package" to David's Honey-Do List! Hahaha!

Dec. 2:

Couldn't get back to sleep after waking from David's snores. Got out of bed at 4am. Had breakfast and did my daily stretches and ab workout. Don't need to work at the gym until 7:30am. Hopefully, my day at work is quick and productive so I can come back home and continue working on my writing project. Will chat more about my project soon! Have a great weekend!

Dec. 11:

I cannot believe how this month is going by so quickly! This same time last year, I was in the middle of my chemo treatments, feeling disgustingly sick and ever-so-fat. I can't emphasize enough how grateful I am for my good health and energy to live a "normal," productive life.

One day last week, I was able to feel David's hands with my fingertips which have been numb since the start of chemo. Unfortunately, my fingertips are numb again, though I think I'm on the road to recovery from this terrible neuropathy. Feet are still numb. Sometimes, I worry about biting the dust when I'm running on the treadmill at the gym. And oh-how-embarassing that would be! Hahaha!

Steadily (and very slowly) losing weigh, even though I plateaued for several weeks. Had to increase my cardio and tweek my diet once again. I notice certain foods don't agree with me any more -- chocolate for one, which is fine because I've never been a big chocolate or candy eater. I ate a Burger King Whopper (no onions) last night for the first time in what seems like eons, and I felt disgusted with myself soon after my last bite. Won't be doing that again any time soon! Hair's getting long again, even though I just had my hair trimmed about three weeks ago. I've decided to let my hair go, despite the fact that it might look scraggly for a little while, and just watch it grow and appease my husband's desire for me to have long hair again. Dark patches of pigmentation on my legs are still visible, much to my disappointment.

It's almost time for me to take Andrew to the bus stop and I still haven't stretched or worked out my abs yet before heading to the gym for an upper body workout and 45 min. of cardio! Have a great day!
